Kanye West, the influential American rapper and entrepreneur, has made a striking admission, revealing that he has lost interest in listening to rap music
According to West, the genre has become devoid of meaningful substance, failing to provide him with valuable insights or knowledge that could enhance his business ventures.
West took to his X handle to express his disappointment with the current state of rap, confessing that he is no longer familiar with most contemporary rappers.
However, he did mention Yuno Miles as a notable exception, implying that this artist’s work resonates with him.
As a billionaire entrepreneur, West questioned the relevance of rap music to his life, stating that it no longer offers him any practical benefits or useful information.
He wrote: “I’m a 47-year-old billionaire, why the f*ck would u listen to rap? There’s not one piece of information in rap that benefits my agendas or helps me get money.”
“I don’t listen to rap. I don’t know who the f*ck is rapping anymore. Yuno Miles is likely my favourite artist.”
